Tharsus represents the North East in Tech Nation’s Future Fifty programme

We’re delighted to be a part of the new Tech Nation Future Fifty programme cohort.

Future Fifty is Europe’s leading late-stage growth programme, designed to bring together, empower and accelerate the growth of the UK’s tech sector.

“We are excited to be part of Tech Nation’s Future Fifty cohort and look forward to joining a network of the UK’s most forward-thinking businesses,” said Brian Palmer, the CEO of Tharsus. “Our focus is firmly fixed on helping organisations to solve seemingly impossible problems. Our growth is testament to an approach to designing and building strategic machines that has helped our partners transform business performance, create new opportunities and disrupt industries.”

Some of the UK’s most successful and recognisable tech firms have gone through the programme in recent years, including the likes of Monzo, Zoopla, Skyscanner and Darktrace. Tharsus is the only robotics and North East business included in the latest cohort.

Speaking of what it meant to represent the region, Brian added: “We are incredibly proud to be representing the many innovative companies based in the North East, whose collective work has firmly placed the region on the map and established a cluster of businesses that are using technology to transform the world for the better.”
