Tharsus named North East Company of the Year at prestigious awards ceremony
Over 600 business people from across the region gathered at Hardwick Hall last night for the North East Business awards, where Tharsus Group was named Company of the Year.
Conceived in the 1980s the awards are the brain child of North East newspaper- The Journal. Hotly contested and highly coveted they recognise stand out achievement in all aspects of business and the people in them.
Receiving the Company of the Year award, Tharsus Group CEO Brian Palmer said:
This means a huge amount. It is all about the people – the table across there will be delighted but everyone back at base will be as well. They work incredibly hard and this is fantastic recognition.
The evening turned out to be a double wammy for the group as subsidiary company, Universal Wolf was named Manufacturer of the Year after going head to head with two other well established and respected manufacturing business.
